Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include developing, installing, and commissioning plant controls & automation systems. You will be involved in PLC programming in ControlLogix and HMI development in Wonderware (Aveva). Additionally, you will provide MES support and data collection, troubleshoot automation issues through our internal help desk system, and design & specify plant control system architecture, including control panels, hardware, and communication protocols. Your role will also involve partnering with 3rd party controls engineering partners, commissioning VFDs, and potentially traveling to other internal sites for up to roughly 25% of the year, one week at a time max.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wooster, Ohio.

Work Environment

You will be part of a smaller team where you will work closely with the Corporate Controls Engineering Manager, Team Leaders, and SR Engineers to align on Standards and Processes for managing the Control System Infrastructure.
