The individual works in the Production Paint Division and is part of the production/assembly team for the company. This skilled-labor position includes the hydro-dipping of firearms components, and/or the priming, clear-coating, assembling of firearm components. This individual will assist in all aspects of the hydro-dipping and paint applications. THIS IS A CONTRACT POSTION THAT COULD GO DIRECT. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs the application process of hydro dipping, priming, and/or clear coat applications. * Works with transfer material and all aspects of hydro dip tank and fixtures * Assists Paint Production team with extreme precision and detail. * Prepares firearms components for finishing work, which may require polishing, bead blasting, and degreasing. * May perform prep work of taping, rinsing, and fixturing, and organizing parts on racks. * Assists in finishing responsibilities of painting and clear coats applied with a HVLP spray gun. * Loads and unloads ovens of coated parts and products. * Inspects in identifying fill blemishes present in material. * May assist in troubleshooting or other design and application evaluation. * Demonstrates ability to apply internal and customer specifications by following paint procedures with great attention to quality. * Follows paperwork flow, QC and Shop floor policies and procedures. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum High school diploma or GED * Minimum 1 year experience in skilled painting or water transfer is required. * Possess a high attention to detail and quality. * Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic that reflects the Mission and Core Values of the company. * Maintain organization and cleanliness within work area. * Prioritize workplace safety by modeling and following all company safety policies. * Wear all PPE as required by work area or job function. * Communicate effectively with empathy and respect as to promote teamwork and collaboration. * Prior Industrial painting experience is preferred * Working knowledge of Sandblaster operations preferred If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
