Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

The CNC Operator will utilize overhead cranes to move and position steel beams onto CNC equipment. They will set up and operate the CNC Machines, which are primarily Peddinghaus brand and machinery such as Anglemaster, Drill Line, and other Structural Steel Fabrication Machinery. This position is for the 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 6am to 2:30pm, with some days starting at 5am to 3:30 pm and occasional Saturday hours.

Work Environment

These positions are located at the Secondary Shop Location: 1110 E. Princess Street-York, PA. This facility will be transferring to a new location in York, PA, at the end of 2024. Candidates must be aware of and agreeable to this location change. The facility is equipped with overhead cranes to move materials safely. Candidates will need to have their own welding gear and steel-toe boots. They will have their own workstations and should be able to work independently. Safety is a priority in the facility. They will be supporting the structural and miscellaneous departments. Welders will work closely with Layout/Fitters and Weld Inspectors to complete the required work by deadlines for construction jobs.
