About The Opportunity

3rd shift Multi Equipment Operator/Trainee

Position SummaryThe Multi-Equipment Operator sets up, operates, and maintains various pieces of bindery equipment, to include: high speed wrapper (including the programmable feeder units), folders, gluers, cutters, and coaters.

Key Duties And Responsibilities Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all machines in department Read work orders to determine how to correctly run and complete projects Keep track of counts and materials Play an active role in the cleanliness of the assigned equipment and surrounding area Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Ability to use and read a ruler/tape measure

Additional Job Requirements Rate of $18.50/hour (no experience) or $19.50/hour (with experience) Shift differential of $3 per hour Benefits start after 30 days Climate controlled facility Eligible for increase after 90 days Two companies, one vision.
