About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer , to join our AMBP business, Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for t aking receipt of project information and assess the documentation to determine critical manufacturing information that will be required.

You will also Produce accurate 3D and 2D CAD data to allow client approval and production of project requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review project documentation, specifications, and drawings to determine all relevant information for the creation of approval drawings for signoff by client.

  • Raise for clarification any discrepancies found with specifications and drawings.

  • Update 3D CAD models and drawings as required for creation of manufacturing drawings, information, and data.

  • Quote information through clients and contact sources including.

  • Program tenders to achieve required closing dates.

  • Review tender information ie. Plans, Specifications and Schedules to determine quantities and requirements.

  • Determine prices from Price Lists.

  • Compile Quotation using tender format.

  • Revise tender information on Orders for presentation to BDM / Technical sales person

  • Maintaining accurate project data and files.

  • Take a proactive approach to gaining the best possible understanding of our products and their capabilities/ limitations.

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the rest of the team.

    About You

    You will be a result and people-orientated professional, who can bring positive energy and work well in a small team environment. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience and successful performance as a Project Engineer

  • Experienced in the SolidWorks 3D Modelling, Drawing Creation and Sheet Metal Modules essential

  • Experience in 2D CAD

  • Experience in Drive Works, and parametrically driven models an advantage but not essential

  • Ability to understand and determine information from Plans, Specifications and Schedules

  • Ability to understand and determine information from Architectural Plans, Specifications and Schedules

  • Understanding of Data Revision Management.

  • Sound level of skill in the use of windows suite of tools
